Relaxing on the River Avon in Stratford
Cherry Trees is within a few minutes walk of the river, theatre, tennis courts, county cricket ground, a large recreational area and a short distance from several golf courses.

 

In the summer, there is mini golf, brass band playing from the band stand next to the riverside gardens.

For those guests with access to our rear gardens, you can sit and relax by the water features or by the river.

  

Near Cherry Trees is a walking bridge, across the River Avon to the Bancroft Gardens (outside of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre), with its lovely flowerbeds, canal basin and memorial statues of Shakespearean Characters. 

 

It is possible to walk alongside the river, past the Theatres down to the Brass Rubbing Centre, the charming 'Dirty Duck Pub' (real name - The Black Swan), where you might catch a glimpse of the actors in residence.

 

Directly opposite the Shakespearean characters statue is the Stratford-upon-Avon Leisure Centre, with its swimming pool, tennis courts and gyms (with training rooms).
